The end of ST

It's kind of hard to write this, but I am going take my chances anyway. It was on October 2017 when I shared the The Story of Shuletime. On that post I focused more on telling the story of how the Shuletime project came to exist. Here we are, 9 months later and we have a very different story of the same project, just a little bit sorrowful this time.

The post title says much and I do not want to bit around the bush any further. The Shuletime forums have not been accessible for quite sometime now, approximately for 2 months. Users can log in but cannot access or see any forums (actually this is how disabling phpbb's forums setting works). Oh! wait as I'm publishing this post the domain name it's self cannot be accessed too. The timing of the reasons that lead to the shut down of the Shuletime was so bad that coincided the expire date of the domain. I could pay for it, but I was so disappointed that i did not think twice about not renewing the domain name.

Under normal circumstance this post should contain more explanations about why this has happened but I have to leave it all on this link. Now it's official that Shuletime is no more and can't operate from the country I live, not because it contains any harmful information to any of it's users, but it's simply because of this, and because it was never a business (or not yet a business), it was not generating  enough money to afford that high licencing fee.

Will there be the resurrection of ST in the future?, let's hope so.
