The Engineer
This post is about the last book I just finished reading. "A book about an Engineer, written by an Engineer and being read by an Engineer", is the first phrase that came to my mind the first time I saw this book. It's actually a biography of Elon Musk, I'd describe him as a Billionaire, an Entrepreneur, Innovator and as the author of the book calls him "The Engineer". The book authored by Erik Nordeus and titled "The Engineer: Follow Elon Musk on a journey from South Africa to Mars" was worth my time spending reading when not staring on my computer.
Being a person that has had strong drive to get into entrepreneurship, innovation, sometimes happening to be inspired by some startup businesses and having a background in studying science and engineering it was not easy not to be attracted to read about Elon Musk. I have heard Elon Musk before (it's hard not to hear about him, especially in these Internet ages) and have been following news on his innovative companies.
Finding this book gave me an opportunity to know a bit more a Elon's life as an business person and an entrepreneur. The book tries to describes Elon's life from his family origin, before and after moving to South Africa and when he decided to move to Canada and finally to the US. According to book's story, every step that Elon has been through his life must be very inspiring to any person (mostly young people) who want to get into business and entrepreneurship especially in these times where we have witnessed startup companies growing from very small ideas and projects and becoming world's powerful corporations that have changed so many ways of our daily lives.
It's been a great time reading "The Engineer" book, I would recommend the book to anyone interested in tech, business, entrepreneurship, space and similar fields. I have said before that, I have been following Elon before, but after reading the book I think it just made me even a greater fan of him.
